I'm sitting here on Sunday night, wondering where the fuck the weekend went to.


Friday Night: Shabbat with Masada BBG

This event sorta went to shit. It started off pretty good. I mean, I played guitar, chilled out, said "Hi" to old friends and new. Didn't each much dinner, didn't have to pay for the event, the whole nine yards.


Then services came. Lemme set background, first, though. See, I'd gone to this temple for as long as I remember. My parents were both in the choir, so I had to sit through every Friday night service and every choir practice. They do about the same music still, and I know the prayers from going every week as a kid. The amount of disrespect on Friday was staggering to say the least. I took it pretty hard. Harder then I should have, to be honest, but still, it did hurt. The Rabbi held a program on forgiveness (sorta), and while debating my side of the argument, someone brings this up:

"Have you never gotten angry? Should you be kicked off board if you are angry?"

I took it as a personal attack, but I was able to field it, keep it on subject (most of the time), and put up a damn good fight for my points. After the event, I just walked to my car, got intercepted by Mickey, and I just let loose. I vent to him, and don't even give a shit about the 3-4 people behind me. I just let lose, then go to my car and cry. Literally. I just stopped and started to cry. I went home sad and depressed.


Saturday: Look at Tammy, Ella, and Ally's desciption for Sweetheart / Heartthrob, at least for now, because I'm exhausted.
